One thing we heard loud and clear in early testing was: “I get the benefit of KenzaCards, but PLEASE don’t lock me into a proprietary system!”

We get it. Our goal is to make the KenzaPad system amazingly useful and helpful, and our hope is that you’ll find the quality and usability of KenzaCards to be worth your investment in them, but we also don’t want you to feel locked out of DIY options if that’s how you want to use your KenzaPad.

To this end, we’ve carefully designed the dimensions of the KenzaPad to support two standard card sizes with a little modification:

  1. The ISO 216 paper sizing system is a standard used in most countries in the world (with the notable exception of North America). Kenza Cards are designed uses the A7 size (74 mm x 105 mm). The only modification required is to punch 2 holes at the top of a card to fit over the Kenza Pad’s pegs);
  2. For North American users, the standard 3×5 inch index cards are easy to modify by trimming roughly 1” off the long end of the card and punching 2 holes to fit over the pegs.
